La nuova storica stagione di A2 non poteva cominciare senza l’intervento del Capitano Paola “Pol” Sozzi

🏀  Paola, ti chiedo uno sforzo immane : parlaci di te ricordando i tuoi trascorsi cestistici ..

Sono cresciuta nelle giovanili del Basket Montigarda a Montichiari (BS) dove ho potuto vivere già a 14 anni l’ambiente professionistico della serie A1.
Dopo tale esperienza ho giocato per diverse squadre in serie B, tra cui Cremona, Pontevico, Bergamo, ritornando nuovamente in A2 con Albino.
Voluta fortemente dalla società Brixia Basket, ho deciso di riavvicinarmi a casa 6 anni fa e dopo tanti anni di sacrifici e con maturità diversa ritorno finalmente ad assaporare un campionato nazionale.

🏀  Adesso lo fai da Capitano : dai un messaggio alla squadra

Data la sfida, 4 nuove giocatrici entreranno a far parte della rosa: Carlotta, Giulia, Benedetta e Angelina (che vi presenteremo nei prossimi giorni ndr); giocatrici con un cv sportivo di grande rispetto e che ci daranno una grossa mano. Saremo una squadra composta da giovani e giovanissime con tanta voglia di mettersi alla prova.
Sono più che convinta che il Brixia riuscirà a dire la sua anche in un campionato così tosto dove il livello tecnico e fisico è elevato. La voglia e l’entusiasmo sono sempre stati il nostro cavallo di battaglia e così continuerà ad essere.

🏀  ..e dai un messaggio alla piazza di Brescia e ai tanti tifosi di basket femminile ..

Dopo una stagione interrotta a metà dagli eventi e dal lockdown, la voglia di ricominciare è tanta. Le leonesse del Brixia Basket lo fanno ripartendo dalla serie A2, un sogno raggiunto dopo tanti sforzi e sacrifici.
Mi auguro che la città, dove sono cresciuta e che amo, risponda presente sostenendoci con entusiasmo.

🏀  Cosa ti aspetti dalla stagione ?

L’obiettivo della stagione è la salvezza. Tuttavia, dietro tale ambizione, mi auguro di poter continuare ad accompagnare la società nel percorso a lungo termine intrapreso sin dal mio arrivo: far crescere continuamente la squadra e le giovani. Spero ciò possa dare a loro quello che è stato per me a 14 anni con l’A1, una buona esperienza in ambito sportivo fatta di lavoro e sacrificio quotidiano, competenze molto utili per la propria formazione professionale.
